I am the Mother of 5 wonderful, adventurous, smart and talented boys a mother could ask for. One might say "Wow, what a hard job!" Well, that's another blog for another day. The most challenging day came when we decided a puppy would the best thing for our boys! Let's just say we raised our childen to obey...we raise children better than we raise dogs! After raising 5 children, our first baby lock was purchased for the dog! Now don't get me wrong, we love our beagle, but his antics have created quite the array of emotion over our 12 years together.
About a year ago my husband and I traveled to a conference where some happy reunions with old friends took place. Half way through the conference we decided to keep score...how many friends asked about our children and how many asked about the dog. The score by day #1 was 5-1, yep, in favor of dear Bentley.
My husband is a preacher, which means many visitors and speakers in our home. More often than not, Bentley comes out somewhere in a sermon from our guests. He is no doubt, a subject to laugh about and talk about.
